RE:Really John??? Again Really????
RE:Really John??? Again Really????On the topic of it being non-repeatable, the items being supplied are consumables which get used and need to be bought again (masks, sanitizers, etc). This is, by definition, repeatable.
Perhaps the assumption is that PPE won't be needed because the pandemic will just end (going herd or whatever). Unfortunately, it will almost certainly be a long time before normalcy is fully restored. There will eventually be a vaccine but that will need to be administered to millions of people. Realistically, and according to most scientists who have weighed in, PPE and special precautions will be a need for at least a year. To prevent recurrence, certain kinds of workers who are in close quarters with the public, will likely be taking precautions for years, not months. So, the contract is very "repeatable".
Perhaps more importantly, there are many industrial and medical contexts where PPE is part of everyday work regardless of whether we are in the middle of a pandemic. For these opportunities, successfully working with a large company like Uber or Lyft is a great sales reference.
