What We Need In a Leader Of Martello Right Now
My goal here is not to bash Mr. Proctor. I don't think in my previous posts I have ever shown any inkling of doing that, despite that I question whether he is the right person to lead Martello. Someone last night mentioned Mr. Linton possibly taking over the helm even on an interim basis. We have clearly seen the effects of a person such as himself who is not afraid to go in front of the cameras and even in an unorthodox manner, promote the companies in which he is affiliated.
It is very interesting to note that most of us have a consensus in terms of what we need right now in terms of leadership for this company. Essentially someone to grow the bottom line, increase revenue, wisely deal with acquisitions and market the product, extending to other markets.
If you get a chance, go on the Martello website in their leadership section and review the bios. For me anyway, it is apparent that Mr. Linton, in his bios, has his accomplishments profiled. 600% increase of revenue in 3 years (who wouldn't want that right now?) Dealing with M&A and the associated strategies, and also partnering and forming alliances with emerging markets / foreign markets. Then look at Mr. Proctor's bio. Nothing really substantive in terms of realized, measurable achievements. One could argue his industry experience only really started 11 years ago, whereas Mr. Linton's is multiple decades long in the telecom and networking industry. Given what we all believe we need right now, I think it's pretty clear that we need someone with Mr. Linton's caliber of experience and business acumen, and a proven track record of delivering results and unashamed to promote the company at every opportunity.
