NEW STAKING!

NEW STAKING!Someone (looks like Temex stakers) messed up big time in tying onto the Metalex claim. Just noticed a new claim has been filed that wedges between the Temex-Mill City option and the Metalex discovery claim. The claim (TB 4221876) is 100 meters wide and 800 meters long. They will have about 150 meters of strike of the new zone (based on a NE/SW strike) and several hundred meters of downdip before it strikes and dips onto the Temex-Mill City claim.

Somebody was awake here for sure and realized the Temex claim did NOT abut the Metalex claim. My best guess would be it was Golden Valley that staked the wedged claim based on their observations while staking around the Metalex block. The Ministry is slow to process claim abstracts so its going to be a few weeks before the new owner is known - unless the Company puts out a news release to that effect. Should results be forthcoming next week (assays on the first few MTX holes) and should they be good, then this new claim is quite a good catch by the as yet unknown company.

Best guess is that the zone strikes more NE-SW than what MTX originally presumed. This is good for GZZ since it gives them unlimited potential to the NE of the discovery drilling. The Temex-Mill City JV still benefits nicely either way.

Was hoping for news last week, so I would think assays should be in hand pretty darn soon. If it's true that the assays are getting checked then its a good bet they have some high-grade core in the samples. Passport Metals optioned the Noront block to the south-west of Canadian Orebodies just last week, so other players are coming into this area and taking a position.

This section of the greenstone belt may prove up to have high potential for additional VMS base metal discoveries. I would think that both Mill City and Canadian Orebodies are planning to mobilize a drill into the area very soon to ground check their own anomalies. Certainly Noront and WSR will be flying the newly acquired GZZ claims to prepare a summer drill program here as well.
