I think, yes.
From October 23 news release:
"North American Gem has the right to begin mining at the North American Gem Mine #1 immediately. Engle Hollow Mining, the contract operator, has spent the past several weeks preparing and will begin mobilizing and working immediately now that the bonds have been posted. "
and
"The first coal is expected to be trucked to market before month end."
I believe the company is going to make a formal announcement that coal production has, in fact, begun in their next news release.
