I like guessing games so i will put out my guess as to the news release.

I would like to think the news release will be that they have found a purchaser for the coal that will be produced from mine number two in the amount of 30 - 35k tonnes. Or quite possibly the blue gem. 

My other guess would be that they have found another company that requires their coal to be processed (washed) therefore creating more profit as an idle plant doesnt bring in any money.

Just my two cents
