news on Solitaire

I realize that this is the NAG board, but Solitaire (one of Charles' other companies), came out with some news today: "Solitaire Minerals Corp. (Solitaire) (SLT) has started the process of creating a U.S.A Subsidiary with the primary goal of holding Metallurgical Coal (Met coal) leases. Solitaire has been exploring the potential to hold and develop Met coal leases with near-term production potential."

Since when was SLT ever into coal? Can anyone that know this company comment on this? Is Charles getting other coal leases for SLT now? Instead of NAG?

NAG has never been into metallurgic coal [used in steel making.] SLT has found such coal fields in Kentucky and other areas and has established  a group of experts in that field. Will not conflict with NAG's bitumitous[sic] and 'Blue Gem' projects.

I think if you look, he just gave a bunch of options away in that one as well. THis guy has got to go or answer some guestions as to why there should be these cheap options. THere doesn't seem to be any answers to any of the guestions that are asked. Doesn't performs usually dictate if one gets a bonus or some kind of benefits.Nothing but his own banking system to keep him and his friends ...more

In my opinion, Charles will never go (or get let go by NAG).  The reason is simple.  He brought coal to NAG.  You can say whatever you want about him as a president or as a person.  But in regards to NAG, I don't think he's doing a bad job.  Far from it.  I think he's lining up all the properties/leases/plans to become a long-term coal producer.  ...more

lucci2005, You should email him your post and if you don't mind I'll email him something similar. Maybe these guys should realize that they are not working in a vacuum. Thanks

There's no point in emailing them anything regarding share options.  The truth is that they are legal (at least what they are doing is perfectly legal).  Is it fair to the shareholders?  No.  But it's legal.  Is that to say that management does not care about its shareholders?  No.  I'm not saying that.  All I'm saying is that NAG management  ...more

Lucci, I fully agree with you , I think NAG has a great future, but in regards to the options, I think the security commission should step in and put a halt to that nonsense with every company on the exchange. There should be a formula that each company must follow , for example if the sp on a stock has traded for an average of .20 over a 100 day span then the company can not issue themselves an ...more
