I am no expert but my theory is that they are waiting for the PEA to be completed. NAM has already announced and organized this to be done. It gives everyone a better idea of what exactly we have here so it can be sold accordingly and assures we get a fair price and will also help inform any potential buyer or joint venture not to overpay either. As much as I want someone to come and write a check for 100 million and we all make 10 times our money I'm assuming it is best for both parties to wait until the next step is complete. At least this is what I tell myself lol.

I have not taken the time myself but one could try to find examples of other buyouts and compare at what stage was the junior at when they signed a deal. Is it common for something like this to be sold before a PEA? I don't know I haven't done that much homework.

I think in this day and age, a PEA will need to be done for a buyout.

A joint Venture could happen at any time.  NAM has already completed an internal PEA to get the unanimous board approval to spend on a formal PEA.

So a JV could happen just reviewing the internal justtificaiton.  Buy in early, and cheap, so-to-speak.  We have a new head for the River Valley, he also had a hand in getting Noprth American Palladium up and mining.  Who knows, he's likely to have new ideas and focus though NAm seems to be on a pretty agressive timeline.

It will be an interesting summer and upcoming events include the latest from the Azincourt and NAM lithium updated results as well as updated RV drill results, likely September or so.

I would be quite happy with a 100 million buyout.  That's a 15.5 x return on today's stock price.
