RE: NEWS - Earth’s Oldest Meteor Discovered at Nor I don't understand how they came up with the 3 billion year impact date. I heard that 3 billion crust rocks were found in that area but my guess would be 65 million years ago, when Greenland started to move away from Labrador. I'm no geo but common sense? Were there not younger rocks reported there? I understand that the origins of tectonic plate movements is still being surmissed. Anybody know about this?
