NORTHCORE RESOURCES RETAINS AEROQUEST FOR AIRBORNE SURVEYS OVER BC RARE
EARTH PROPERTIES
MONTREAL, QUEBEC – (October 4, 2011) - Northcore Resources Inc. ( TSXV: NCR) is pleased to
announce that it has retained Aeroquest International Ltd. to conduct multiple large-scale geophysical and
radiometric airborne surveys for our South-East Cap, North Cap, MagAnomaly 1 and South Seebach rare
earth element (REE) and rare metal properties located approximately 80 km northeast of Prince George
in the Rocky Mountain Rare Metal Belt of Northern British Columbia.
The surveys will consist of approximately 635 line kilometres and will be flown at 200-metre line spacing
with flight lines being flown at a 45 degree azimuth, perpendicular to the regional geologic trend. The
AeroMAG (gradient and radiometrics) system is ideal for its superior ability to contour in Northern B.C.'s
rugged terrain.
Our four REE properties, covering approximately 8,055 hectares, are all located within the immediate
vicinity of Spectrum Mining Corporation's Wicheeda REE discovery as well as the Carbo project which is
currently being drilled by Canadian International Minerals Inc. The highlights of Spectrum Mining Corp.'s
past REE mineralization reports include a 48.64-metre interval which averaged 3.55 per cent REE, a 72-
metre interval which averaged 2.92 per cent REE and a 144-metre interval which averaged 2.2 per cent
REE in three separate drill holes.
The entire properties are being flown to provide magnetic, electromagnetic and radiometric data prior to
the commencement of fieldwork. The Company anticipates the airborne survey to commence within the
next two weeks.
