RE: It's just meI try to read every post here.... .....as I've written before, this is the best message board I've ever seen.......It's been THE place for analyzing NFG, and the info I've gotten here has been the reason I've gotten the confidence to hold onto this stock........I save a lot of the posts to my email, with the notion that I might use them to write a report on NFG, at some point, and many of the posts could be put right in this report to put forth the narrative and analysis contained in said report......a while ago, I started coding some of the posters names along with the emails I save........Ike is one of the codes I use. So is MC, BD, BC, and, a few others........some posts I save have no coded name attached.......I don't have a code for your name.....not sure if I ever saved any of your posts.....I may have, but I haven't made a code for you, cuz your posts don't stand out..........I enjoy the personal touches in posts.......MC is good in that regard, too........his stories about the Rock Doc, the weather in NL. etc........it's all interesting, and also very helpful in establishing confidence in the people that you are relying upon who are posting such good information, analysis, opinion, hunches, etc. about the Stock, which in my case, I just stumbled upon........AND, if NFG becomes as successful as we are hoping, and believe it will, many of us will be around here for quite some time....... So, this board is already a great online community as well....... I read a lot of info online about the BIG PICTURE stuff, like what's going on in China, and listen to interviews with investment pros, etc. One thing I have learned is to read the comment boards attached to articles. I find that you can get quite a lot of insight from the comment section, cuz the posts will often be more blunt, have more gritty detail, than the articles, videos, etc. themselves.........you can get a sense of whether the poster is for real, as opposed to a 'basher', 'propagandist', or other disingenuous poster. Regarding the China issue with their gargantuan debt and vastly overpriced real estate, for example, I recall one simple post from someone in China who posted that most everyone in China believes that RE prices are going down.....it seemed to be a genuine post, and it provided a further 'aha moment' that, yes, China IS truly F'd........and, sure enough, RE sales in China ARE off 30+%.......and THIS means that the RE Ponzi phenom in China is really unraveling....... The point I'm making in my typical long winded, but thorough fashion, is that this is a community, it does a fantastic job in creating the true narrative and analysis of NFG, as well as the context around NFG as an investment, such as 'Why gold?, currencies?, market crash coming?, and how will NFG fare?', etc., etc........ The point is that this is an online community, it provides fantastic insight into NFG, as well as the bigger picture of the investment context in which NFG dwells.......you want to know about the people who contribute their insights.......and, another aspect of NFG, and the discovery of the Newfoundland emerging gold district, is that it is an investment adventure, as well....it's really quite the story.......and the personal stuff people post just adds to the whole message board and it's functioning......so, it's all good!........take what you want from this forum, and ignore what you don't want......But, the forum is extremely valuable, and it's created by the posters, particularly key posters.
