I would not put much weight in what he says about gold .
just because you have been successful in one area doesn't make you a professional in all areas he does not understand gold and the history of gold and how outside North America gold is extremely valued and purchased by ordinary and rich people alike
I really have to laugh at these guys like Mark Cuban and Kevin O'Leary who were big supporters of the cryptocurrencies and got suckered in with so many fraudulent losers. It turns my stomach to listen to them saying negative things about mining stocks and gold in particular. Do they really believe in what they preach or did they rip off everyone behind the scenes. Who knows for sure. Those guys are narcissists who just love to be heard and look at themselves in the mirror all day long. I put them in the category of fake news like Donald Trump. Full of BS Lol
Gold has stood the test of time for hundreds of years with many bubbles that have come and gone but yet gold continues to rise in value. Gold is like land, there is only so much of it to go around and everyone wants it. Digital currencies are just another way for the computer nerds to steal your money. I'm not a big believer in it. Stick with gold and gold equities during inflationary times and you will be handsomely rewarded. History does tend to repeat itself.
