That was a great read. More! A few points to contest

A few points to contest

DanWarren A few points to note: 1) The price of gold has held up very well over many months(however nowhere near enough to offset inflationary costs in the mining sector for the last 3 years in particular, even adjusted for a rising USD. This is because, contrary what Dentedhead has posted, most mining costs are USD based in one way or another. Take for example the cost of machinery. Well, we don’t build mining machinery in Canada. It comes from elsewhere. Raw materials are all USD based. Oil and everything using it in production such as tires, lube, fuel, plastics etc therefore is also is USD based.) with. Long term bonds have gotten slaughtered (just like nfg shareholders in the last 30 months, down over 50%). People who invested in bonds at much lower rates, thinking they were making a conservative investment were extremely mistaken, by investing in bonds at very low rates. ...the 'safe haven' investment category of bonds failed miserably.....Meanwhile, gold has held up remarkably well in the face of the fastest rising interest rates since Volker was head of the FED in the 80s(once again, Volcker is known for raising rates to 18% to fight off inflation. If you are suggesting thats happening again then your pog will trade below $400. And if that’s not what youre suggesting then relax, chill, have a drink, but don’t call me a liar because you cant read)). And, yet, gold pays no interest rate yield (which is why smart people like Warren, the other Warren, don’t own it. Are you related? If so youre the dumb one I take it)...... maybe gold goes down further, but it's recent stability( er.. real recently it tanked if you hadn’t noticed) would seem to indicate that it will probably maintain its stability in pricing.(who knows, not me. I don’t preach that it will tank or spike as gold usually does the opposite of what its supposed to)..it has been noted that gold has been much more stable than bonds (and nfg which….yes.. you got it…has dropped over 50%.....etc etc). Gold is being recognized as a, if not, the, 'safe haven' investment(totally false. Just about everything has risen more than gold in the last 3 years. In particular things you need and that are useful, unlike gold which just sits there and looks pretty). ....... 2) The price of gold doesn't really effect NFG much(liar. Stupid liar), in reality, due to the high grade Nature of NFGs ore (you cant tell us what the average grade will be. So that’s just wishful thinking. Look at Wallbridge, Erics previous fave and how that turned out. One thing we do know is the company is afraid to put out an mre. You should take that as a hint about what they think of not only average grade but the number of ozs as well.). NFG's analog is the Fosterville(according to the bullshiit artists. But every find looks like Fosterville to them) mine, which has had among the lowest AISC (all in production costs) in the world (because of Swan. Remove Swan and it’s a mediocre deposit). Even if gold were priced at $1000 USD per ounce, Fosterville would still be making substantial profits (that’s nice but has nothing to do with nfg)....this will likely be the case with NFG (as likely as winning the lottery). So, even IF gold were to drop a couple hundred US$, it doesn't threaten NFG future operations (blah blah). NFG will be highly profitable with gold at $1500 USD, $2000, $2500 etc (I highly doubt that as I highly doubt your average grade will be above 3 gm. Like wm)........ ....3) GIven the SEA CHANGES in the world situation we are witnessing, and which are likely to persist for years to come, gold will likely remain a 'safe haven' for a store of value (youre better off with cheeseburgers). It is already at all time highs in many currencies......gold has no yield (basher), but gold stocks do (precious few have yields. Generally speaking they have been lousy investments. See charts of abx and nem over the past 30 years. They are destroyers of capital. And you want to hitch your wagon to the same mule), once they are producing gold....currently, everything is highly valued. It's called 'the everything bubble'.....Residential real estate, commercial real estate, stocks, bonds have come down a lot, but if inflation stays high and persists(cheeseburgers keep going up. As do my morning eggs and toast)?.....it seems like one teeny investment category, gold stocks ( and silver stocks and other miners of various minerals might also be included) are at bargain basement prices, possibly the lowest valuations in history (you aint been around. Think Black Monday). .......4) NFG seems to have been greatly 'deRisked' (bullshiit. You don’t how many ozs, don’t know grade, have no idea of costs or where the pog is going, don’t know if there are metallaurgy problems, or whether the capital markets have an appetite for what youre peddling. And how come no major is interested and how come the geologic community has ignored you completely?)in the last two years, by discovering so much (how much? You don’t know because the company is running away from an mre) high grade gold just on a small fraction of the massive Queesway project(nvo was more massive and look where they are), and just to shallow depths. NFG appears to be taking early steps to begin mining given the investment they have made in Maritime Resources and their MOU with them (MAE) (fodder for retail. Wheres the milling contract after 2 months of Mou-ing)..Due to MAE having fully constructed processing facilities, starting production of gold may not take very long at all, possibly a year or so. Newfoundland WANTS mining to proliferate (actually they prbly don’t as once they start questions about grade will begin)....there seems little doubt NFG will be mining gold and processing it in the not so distant future (I doubt that)....and the upside as to how much gold may well be discovered and mined at Queensway many years into the future is quite exciting to consider. Both Erich (Eric, no h) Sprott and Quenten Henigh(Quinton Hennigh- lousy geo), a renowned (infamous actually- not good btw) gold focused geologist (with bottles for glasses), believe that there will be gold being mined from Queensway a number of decades into the future(so what)......bottom line, where else do you feel comfortable investing with value in mind (value stocks? Nail clippers? Oil and gas?)? The gold stock sector is the key investment sector I think of (think again. Look at those 30 yr charts of aem and nem real hard), and NFG appears to be at the top of the heap(of overpriced porkers. Even your own RR said so) for having revealed a major resource(what resource is that? How many ozs? You don’t know), and thus has solid (over) value and downside protection (lolly) vis a vis its likely resource size (what size is that? You don’t know. And they are afraid to tell you. Take a hint loser), along with the stability of gold itself(not looking very stable this week is it). Thus, you have both the conservatism of value in the ground for defensive investing, and possibly massive upside, as NFG continues its building of its resource and production of same as the next logical step (dream on)......... ........Might NFG fall more? .....yes, of course (basher). Especially with our Lil Shorty nemesis (who might that be exactly liar. Would you like me to repost Crux’s response to you. I don’t short stocks either liar)....but, if you sell NFG here, do you get to buy it lower?(probly).....will you be successful in doing so? ......What if gold turns around here or just holds steady?...What if NFG announces major news in the weeks ahead? (ifs and butts:)
