RE:News….E-W Vein of Keats is World Classhrough drilling, the E-W Vein has been intercepted over a strike length of 300m and down to a vertical depth of 150m, forming an important constituent of the Keats-Baseline Fault Zone.
Its average width is 25 m.
So, we have 300 m **150 m**25 m =1.13 cu m of rock containing the EW vein.
SG would be about 3 tons per cu m which converts to 3.4 m tons of rock within which is contained the E-W vein .
Removing the nugget effect and replacing with next highest grade , I get 61 grms per ton as the average grade of the vein..2 ounces per ton.
So, the maximum potential gold contained within the EW vein would be 6.7 m ounces.
But that is an over estimate as the concentration dilution ..waste rock ...will have to be considered .
For a solid large vein like this , dilution would be substantially less than 96 % which is the case for spatially disparate veinlets.
I choose 50 % ..rather arbitrtarily....which results in the EW vein containing about 3 million recoverable ounces of very high grade gold.
The vein is just a small proportion of the mineralized area of the Keats discovery .
The Keats Zone starts 3m below surface at bedrock and has been drill-defined over 1.1km of strike and to a depth of 400m.
You can apply your own multiple to this much larger volume of mineralized gold, but my conclusion is that the Keats Zone , when fully dilled , will easily exceed
10 million ounces of very high grade gold
