Horrendous place to work
I always heard bad things about New Found Gold before starting work there but I ignored them because the pay was good, but once I started it didn't take me long before I started hating the place. You can get the same pay with a better work-life balance at any other company so the pay is nothing special and it's not worth it to undergo the disrespect and poor treatment that you will receive. If you are a core logging geologist and even a technician you will be treated like you mean nothing. Not a great way to feel at work. Most of the project geologists have absolutely no previous supervisory/management experience, at most times they are very unprofessional. There is a gross amount of favoritism occurring in this company (especially from the COO) and because of this, even if you have the experience, you will never work your way up to something with more responsibility.
