As I posted earlier today, the 2024 Independent Technical Report on Queensway contains wealth of detailed drilling data , by prospect.
That prresentation of drilling data is unlike anything that I have ever seen, which is usuallly grades by intercept and intersection length
However, NFG had assayed nearly every meter of its Queensway drilling program which included grams of contained gold within that meter.
These ara arrayed by contained gold categories from less than 1 gram per ton ( basically uncut grade ) to several progressively higher categories of contained gold along with their frequencies .
Basically, by adding these contained gold sampling statistics for a prospect like Keats M , one is able to accurately estimate the amount of gold recovered by the drilling program within that prospect
All that is needed to estimate the gold defined within that prospect is total volume that has been drill sampled .
Such informatiuon detail is provided by most FS studies which details the amount of drilling which was used to estimate the total voliume of ore within the open pit .
By dividing one into the other, I can arrive at volumes of ore that are drill defined per meter drilled .
This estimate is provided in the first table below , based on three open pit FS studies .
Results were quite consistent , as might be expected , as drilling is always focussed rather than random .
On average, about 1600 tons of ore are drill defined for each meter drilled within the depths of open pits which are usualy 300 m or less .
From the referenced TR, meters drilled and meters assayed, disaggregated from uncut grades ( alll assays less than 1 gram per to ) to 4 higher grade categories , average gold grades per meter drill were calculated .
These staristics are shown in the second table , from which total ore volues sampled have been calculated for each prospect .
Only prospects with significant drilling ( greater than 20,000 meters drileld ) were considcerd .
The results , in their combination, estimate that over 7 million ounces of gold at shallow depths less than 300 m ,was sampled by the NFG driling progrm of just over 336,000 meters to the latest date of the TR .
Altogether, about 500,000 + meters hace been drilled at depth of 300 m or less at Queensway todate .
Extrapolation of unit measures in the table below to 500,000 m , suggest over 10 million ounces of gold have been drilled defined today within shallow open pit discoveries at QWN .
IMO, give the detailed nature of the NFG assay sampling program of their drilling results at QWN, this estimate is a very solid one .
