Silver is up sharply today driven by the Reddit group 'wallstreetbets'.

An earlier NFG news release indicated a silver discovery that they would follow up on. Lots of good news to come.  

As an aside some may know that the mine at Buchans [Asargo] which produced zinc, lead and copper for almost 60 years also produced enough gold and silver to cover yearly expenses.

Yes your right in January 11 new release it indicated that; Interestingly and unexpectedly, hole NFGC-20-14 returned two intercepts of high-grade silver mineralization including 253.8 g/t Ag over 2.0 m. This is the first instance of high-grade silver being identified on the Queensway property. Silver mineralization is located proximal to the Little-Powerline gold bearing structures but

  I wouldn't hold my breath on NFG finding a silver deposit since Buchans was a VMS type deposit and New Found Gold is an epizonal orogenic type high grade gold deposit. If you guys are interested in silver along with gold in a VMS type deposit you should take a look at ESK. They have ground just south of the original Eskay Creek very high grade VMS discovery. Did you say buy ESK under $2? QH is a pretty astute geologist, but he is not always right. He's only human. I remember years ago he had some thoughts on First Mining Springpole deposit. FF is still sitting at 0.40!!
