I just got a call from an equipment finance company looking for our business.

"Whats your rate on a 3 yr fixed lease with nominal bauyback". I asked him.

"Well we would have to take a look at your financials to see you credit worthiness, but if you are top grade we can go as low as 8.25% at the moment" he said.

I told him we were currently being offered a couple percent lower by one of the 5 big banks in Canada as theyve targeted our business and would he like to borrow some money from us at 7% to loan to others. I also told him we are paying cash lately as we have too much of the stuff.

is that a good thing?
