When the metals appreciate the big producers follow, then the little producers and finally the exploration stocks.  NFG and all of the other exploration stocks are at the end of the food chain.  They will appreciated in due time. For instant gratification try a Gold ETF tied to bullion.

  Unfortuanately you are correct retiredgeo. The exploration juniors are usually last to move. At least that is what history has proven. Profits from the major producers eventually find their way down to the exploration stocks. The big guys are moving higher as the price of gold moves up. Exactly one year ago today Nfg was trading at 8.04 now it has a hard time being green with gold above 1900$. This has become a complete joke

Its like NFG is riding a TEETER-TOTTER....When the price of Gold goes up....NFG goes down and visa-versa

a month ago we were at 6.50 now we are at 5.37. This should be much higher than 5.37 or even 6.30 with gold at 1915$

AGREED !!!!!!!   WT?...This makes no logical sense. Gold over $1900 and this is in a stalemate !!!  How the heck did they raise $50 million at $8 per share several weeks back ?

That financing completely destroyed the momentum in this stock. Talk about bad timing by the company. They still had 40 million left with the huge keats west hit this would have been trading at 8$ by now with gold over 1900$. Every mini rally gets sold hard. Not sure what its gonna take to move the needle here but whatever they are doing now is clearly not enough

NFG is all speculaton....buy any gold stock that actually has something in hand. Its as easy as that.

Speculation is whats gonna drive this much higher. Financing killed this stock and helped the shorters to cover half a million shares so far

Unless you're in your 80's why would you be so impatient. Here's some advice,sell and move on. Nfg has another 90 + kms of fault to explore and over 1200sq kms.

I think it makes sense There's less money out there looking for a place in equities Most everyone who's a gold bug already has their position. I'm not buying more for example. We've just been through a brutal bear market and people don't trust this new bull market Fresh money is needed but it won't come from gold bugs. Once the general investor starts believing and buying

  Unfortunately you could be right. However any new discoveries should be rewarded by the market. SGD is a good example of that last summer when everything sold off those guys saw their share price more than triple when they made an exciting new gold discovery in the Yukon. So NFG will at least a dozen drills turning and lots of core at the lab should have some pleasant surprises for us
