Gold refining in Canada Part 2
Gold goes from the mine to the mill to the smelter to the gold refinery. Mines and mills are usually found together. There may be a smelter attached but it is not mandatory. Many mines ship their gold concentrate to be smelted elsewhere. Many refineries are seperate from the smelters.
It is possible that NFG will build a small mill on site to get themselves started. The gold concentrate would then be trucked or barged to the smelter. The gold bars would then be sold to a bullion bank and then to the end buyers who may or may not decide to refine them further.
Don't listen to shorter trolls.

I would assume that over the longer term, they would build a floatation plant- Biox plant complex that would convert the sulphide concentrate into oxides and milled in CIL mill..
