RE:This is not a Canadian play? If you feel lucky you can drop some money on this but I don't know what the plan is or if they have one.
The hole that has all the pressure is fine, doesn't hurt to have the oil pushed out instead of pumping but eventually they will have to pump. You might want to take notice that there was no mention of the volume or quality of the oil and if they are selling the gas or flaring it. They also have a well that started flowing on January 7th that they haven't released any numbers for. They should know how much oil they're getting by now or how badly they messed up. When they screw things up they just stop the flow of news and hope everyone forgets. They don't seem to plan very well most of the time. They drilled some wells and then couldn't keep them pumping using the method they wanted to use and it took them months to get power run out to the wells and get them producing. Most of the holes they have drilled produce a lot more water than oil and water needs to be disposed of. They did their rollback at the worst possible time and the rise in the SP was gone almost immediately and ended lower than ever. At times I think incompetent is to kind a word to describe this management team and at times I think this is simply a way to generate salaries for said management. They have done nothing for years to create value for shareholders but do raise enough money to pay themselves while the company stays in debt.
Don't get to excited about the claim that they operate 540 wells, they own very few of them and get only a percentage on most of them and some produce as little as three barrels a day.
There used to be quite a few people on this board and a few held a lot of shares but I think everyone sold. One shareholder had millions of shares more shares than management holds and he finally gave up I think it was before the rollback but not sure. I know my few shares for the right to question the IQ of the management but someday I'll see something shiny that I just have to get and sell if I can get anything for my shares.
I'm not heavily invested at this point with only 10000 shares after the rollback and really should have sold at the high this week.
The biggest problem I have is the way they release news. They drilled that first well of the year and now they have gone silent about it. The SP went up but they let it drop again because of no news on the flow of that well. They now have another well but the NR really didn't say
much and they could go silent again at any time as they did for months before this.
