Pelham and Samara own together over 21% of the shares!

Saw the news about Samara. I also looked at their web site. There are many very smart people working there. I would be tempted to think they know quite well what they are doing.
Between them and Pelham they together own more than 21% of the shares of the corporation, similar to management and directors at Nickel 28.
In the recent weeks, i always said that Nickel should work with Pelham. At one point Pelham even suggested a board made of 2 current Nickel 28 people and 3 of Pelham, of which 2 director nominees are totally independant and the third one is the head of Pelham. Perhaps it was not the perfect world for the current board and management, HOWEVER, if you are true to yourself and the good of the company and your shareholders, you should not have hesitated too long before grabbing the olive branch! Now it will get dirty.

Agreed. NKL managemt/board thought they could get away with their pillaging because before Pelham it was only angry "retail" investors that were voicing concerns without any real power or ability to create change.  The power dynamics have change dramatically and quickly. The institutional / "smart money" clearly have had enough as well and voting for change.   ...more
