Anyone home?

Anyone home?355 Burrard Street. 10th Floor. Anyone there?

All this started back in Oct 2002 with a dream of renewable energy.

So here we are today. Northland has the rights to the Hecate project. No news. Last year they were granted an investigative license July 15th (Crown File # 6407371).

Oceanic continues to issue shares for service to directors every 3 months.

Northland should have someone involved with the project. The project is noted on Northland's website map. Have to stay in the loop. Can't just leave and come back another day.

Does Haida Gwaii require the undersea cable connection or can sufficient renewable energy be developed on island?

Can Northland secure a long-term PPA with someone?

Is the electricity cost competitive with BC Hydro? The project is to have multiple phases over years, but upfront capital costs for undersea cable, etc have to been done early on. How will initial pricing of electricity be determined?

To whom will the benefits accrue.

Who will be the partners in the project.

Onshore infrastructure costs and new transmission lines to connect with BC Hydro's grid.

The area under consideration. When the wind picks up, the waves are fierce. The mist is like a fog. Will challenge the best engineering.

I don't mind the time thing, but some update would be encouraging. After all, Oceanic is now a part owner of the limited partnership and not just a casual observer.

I along with many have been patient with the project's development. I believe much work has been done. But for now, the only visible evidence is a 20 year old metmast bobbing in Hecate Strait.
