RE:just remember one thing...........There is incentive to get rid of some of the pricer components in batteries, i.e cobalt. But the blessign with lithium is that it is abundent and still realitively cheap. There is still progress to be made with lithium batteries. There has been no realistic battery technology found that would be able to match lithium's battery specifications.

This includes recharageability, weight, heat, safety, price. Then you throw in the existing infrastructure that is built around lithium and you can figure the very high cost in replacing it.

I agree, lithium demand will only increase.
