RE: Easing up on the T/A caffee MattMatt, thanks for your comments. It is always good to hear from you regardless of circumstances.
I hear what your saying and assume your friend is with Manulife in their investment department overseas. Huge international money mgr for certain. I also speak with portfolio mgrs. I have had an ongoing debate with one who manages a Canadian portfolio about the USD. He asserted that the USd was not in a "secular bear trend" back in 2003 and made several wagers that would mean loser buys lunch. Strange bet for a large portfolio mgr of a prominent Canadian fund.
Anyway....my feeling is that your friend does not have faith in the trend for pm sector in general for balance of 2007. While there are times to sell.( I can be quicker to sell than most ) I don't believe this is that time. IMHO News releases with impact are done well by some juniors and mishandled by others I think. Our other interest in Staccato gold seems to be a junior which has mishandled news releases in past to share price detriment, while juniors like Esperanza, Scorpio, ECU seem to be very good at it.
Putting aside our own feelings on Orko and gold/silver sector for the moment................ the Market will be the final arbitrator of PM shares.
In any case... all only MHO
cheers my friend
