RE: REALITY CHECK!!!!!
RE: REALITY CHECK!!!!!That would be known as Las Vegas style gambling, not investing...
Oh lord! What have I done. Prior to the trading halt I had borrowed $150k from family members and used my son's $40k college fund to purchase 65,000 shares of Fancamp at around $2.85. It is fuccking $1.54 today. I have had chest pains all day as this was going to be the day NOT news came out and everything was going to be all right. It isn't all right!!! I told all my family what I had done with their money, guaranteeing success and a parlay of fancy dinners and motor cars. My uncle, from whom I borrowed $10k has called six times - I just chose to ignore that big bald fucck. My other family members are likely in shock and have chosen not to call.
My wife - that hairy, obnoxious, beast has been leaving me angry voice mails all day. So I left her one back: "You better have the police set up a blockade at our house cause when I come home from my therapy session I am driving my truck right through the family room window."
This reminds of a few years back when I shorted Research in Motion and a couple of guys in black suits with "e-trade" tags came to my house and start ripping siding off my house and drove away with my 1985 Probe. I tried to pull one of them away from my TV as he walked out the door, and he yelled: "Short sell this!!" proceeding to wedge his wing-tipped shoes into my nuts.
I was left with nothing then and I will be left with nothing now.
The pain isn't over yet either. When I saw RIM go up 600% after my short sale, I litterly shiit myself while sitting in my office chair. I didn't care that everyone around me could hear it and smell it. I was so distraught I actually began grinding my assshole into the chair. When you lose all your money, nothing seems to matter.
What we are experiencing here is the experienced traders teaching the less experienced a lesson in PAIN. All the area plays are down more than 10%. Mark my words - if you think it can't get worse, it can.
