For cannabis, my understanding is that they acheive higher wholesale price without a provincial supply deal, due to the shortage. For example, Ms. Gordon had previously said something to the effect of "we could have any supply deal we want, but why would we want to when we're getting X dollars/g, not paying excise tax, etc). Game plan of happy mistake, NOT having mad provincial supply deals prior to the realized shortage has been a windfall. As for acessories at OCS, I expect this is a precursor to roll-out of their actual target extraction-based end products: creams, vapes, sublingials, etc. The government has promised legalization of these types of products by fall, possibly sooner due to the election (note: government has since clarified that an applicatiion/approval process for products, following legalization, means there will be some small delay before they're on shelves, but thats for all LPs)
