RE:SQDC Agreement - delivery unlikely? No. It's far from too late. June plant-out was said to be ideal, and is likely still achievable. Plus, there's an apparent contingency plan: during the recent co-CEO Ask-me-Anything, it was said that they'd also consider auto-flower cultivars, for planting as late as summer (only if necessary, of course). Auto-flowers are a very fast growing cultivar that does not require the shortening daytime light change to trigger flowering (hence their auto-flower namesake). Further, with ALL other prosoective outdoor growers that I'm aware of targetting at least double the kg/acre yield of 48North, I anticipate that their 40,000kg target was conservatively based on this worst-case model for late licencing...and that two crops may potentially be viable in future years, if not this year pending early licencing. As seeds are very difficult to obtain this year, though, and them suggesting that several cultivars will be planted, I wouldnt count on them necessarily experimenting with more than a partial crop such a two-crop-per-year cultivar in that case. I dont see the licence as too late for ideal plant-out in June, though, at this point. I have some beautiful plants going for the first time, since Dec. It takes ~4 weeks for their stalks to harden up enough that they could likely be transplanted. Working backwards, even for early June, it doesnt seem too late. They've said they'll announce cultivars once licensed, and Im sure they've arranged for purchase of seed upon a phone call, if they havent already committed to/obtained certain cultivars. Further, they'll be starting them at their indoor facility, which is already licensed, so, if their confident about a licensing timeline, there's also nothing stopping them from starting them indoors prior to the outdoor licence
