Good point, but what about overcapacity? Acb, Canopy, and others dumping product they can't sell. Remember the dude who invented a carburetor that would get 100 mpg in the 1970s? Believe in the model here, but a buyout is extremely unlikely given current market conditions. The tone of the post was to not imply a shuttering of the doors, rather an enlightenment. The only way a buyout would happen here would certainly not occur to bolster a diffetent LPs productivity. It would be, as US Steel did to Stelco. Shut the competition down regardless of cost per gram. Which by the way is a threat to existing lps.
