Hey “RapsAlot”,
I was surprised to read your post about Meridian Farm Markets not carrying Natera product
at the moment. I appreciate the update/correction.
I have to admit that I was also surprised
back in January when it was announced that Meridian were going to carry the product but I've never been to one of their stores so….I don’t know much about them
;<)
Hey “RapsAlot”,
I should have written that
I was very surprised. So Friday afternoon I reached out to NSP management about product not being in Meridian Meats as stated in your post. Later Friday I was forwarded pictures that were just taken by a member of the management team who was actually at one of the stores about 5 pm.
This is the picture I received showing the product in the display cooler:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Kpm4p5ru-jePBWlIzz2B0Fc2HECR-0VF/view?usp=sharing As you can see from the picture, at least 3 Natera products are presented in the display cooler although they are not marked Natera it is pretty clear that they are. They are essentially being offered as Meridian Meats plant based products.
The same with Sealand Quality Foods on their website - there is no mention that the
Plant Based Variety Box offered is Natera product but again it is clear that it is. It is my understanding that Sealand specified which products they wanted in their package.

I have to agree with odzie1 about the Denny’s thing – I believe it is more significant than a lot of people might think. I believe that for many reasons; but one I haven’t actually stated is the obvious one that Denny’s actually states that their new plant based offerings are Natera brand. Have a second look at the pictures of the in-restaurant promotion photos:
https://natera.ca/dennys.html.
That’s a lot of eyes seeing the Natera name that might not otherwise. Putting the Natera brand name out there at least provides Denny’s customers with the information needed to find the product should they want some for home consumption.

“RapsAlot” I can’t tell from your post who you spoke to or what your discussion was, however, I believe there may have been some confusion and you were misinformed.
As stated above I believe that Meridian simply displays the product as their plant based alternatives in their display coolers as shown above and they do not have retail packaging of the plant based products.
This is a second picture I received showing a typical vertical cooler:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/10M7HZDDkGFUynK2x-9U53QRzM4GV1p1t/view?usp=sharing It is possible that if in store demand is enough to warrant it, retail packaging of the plant based products in the future will be similar to those shown in the picture.

Short version: I can confidently state that Natera products are still in at least 1 Meridian store
;<) and I suspect there are still in all the others.
