Jones Soda just threw their hat in the CBD soda ring for almost a triple on mentioning a beverage.   
They know soda and have a facility but I'm not sure about IP and rapid onset and offset that seems to be a pre-req for THC versions.

So far they are interested in CBD infused, which I personally think is going to be a bigger revenue generator than the THC versions unless the THC versions get a grip in the bar scene.  CBD shows a lot of promise for health effects like anxiety, sleep, pain and relaxation and I could see myself ordering a CBD beverage in the bar, probably after I've had a THC infused bevvie or two.

Lots of patients seeking out cannabinoids for relief from word of mouth because the governing bodies won't allow you to promote health effects until proven, nevertheless consumers are finding their way to these products.

So much unexplored potential like weight-loss which is a huge selling point for bar patrons because the THC instead of the alcohol comes with few calories or sugar.

I think NU could do an energy drink with some of their magic from blueberries and a little CBD or they could use the CBDG that gives you the non-munchies, apparently.

Sign me up!  Somebody is going to do it and the fat market is huge, no pun intended!

I like the idea of the IP being used with a consistent producer like Jones soda or otherwise. NU showing their lack of experience in manufacturing product (late orders and such) scaling up requires outside help and that is where the IP licensing holds good value. I got into this through lexaria, NU used to work closely with them. Not sure what happened when they broke, but they appear to have

Still optimistic, trying to find those silver linings, which are many. Trying to ignore the breathtaking wait for such long awaited company changing news that almost feels will never happen now. Yep. As much as I (we all) want this initial order shipped I feel the follow up order is just as important .it can not only show us if any growth is happening right away , but more importantly it'll show if these delays were just to get going or could lead to some kind of ongoing issue.

I just fear follow up order hasn't come in yet, for reasons like.....why spend millions more on another order if the producer cannot complete the first. I would likely want confirmation of them getting me the first order before I ever requested a second. I think that confirmation would have the follow-up order come back to back to the first being shipped. Yes, if demand is that high, the next

No need to fear if it's officially come in yet or not. They need to get the initial out before worrying about starting any follow up. I'm sure we'll hear about a follow up order when they ship initial . After all there are minimums set out in the contract . The waiting is hella lame. Hopi g the reward is worth it

I like this post and am frustrated with the silence regarding a clear explanation. However we are only proving what silence does. It leads to assumptions. We have zero idea what caused/is causing any delays and who to point the finger at. I'm not saying it isn't NU fault and they certainly could fix that by actually letting us know what's up , but nobody else here knows either .

I am not only one making assumptions to be sure, that is what happens with doubt and lack of clarity. Getting so bad I rather bad news and answers than no news at all. Regardless of the major stakes on this one order and the radio silence, they have many irons in the fire and potential for many more even larger chunks of iron to look at.
