Recurring Revenue

Recurring RevenueThe company has both product and services revenue, with the latter being more recurring in nature.  Recurring revenue is generally preferable to non-recurring revenue.

Over the years, services revenue as a percentage of total revenue has been increasing nicely.

2015                 0.5%
2016               13.7%
2017               14.2%
2018               22.8%
2019               26.4%

Now, for the last 9 months, service revenue was 52.3% of total revenue, which looks good, but that's in a covid environment when product revenue was down, so 52.3% isn't really relevant.
