Richard GerusonIs a university-level professor of business, a published author of university-level texts, has his own business and multiple directorships.
Given his impeccable record both academically and in business, it is reasonable to assume that he is cognizant of the definition of "guidance", when and it what context it is used, and the fiduciary responsibilities associated with it.
Taking his words to the point where you are calling "revenues soon" to meaning "guidance" is a seemingly wasteful exercise. If you care to, you can contact the company and they will tell you what they told an associate of mine: that they are working on their own and with Qualcomm and NVidia to get their technology placed into numerous potential platforms. They are building relationships, and the gist of what was implied, as it was understood, was that the company has nothing as of yet to report, or they are under a requirement that disables reporting of deals at the present time.
I equate Mr. Geruson's use of the word "soon" to terms like "poised for discovery" and "targeting a world class VMS deposit" - like you would here from a junior resource explorer.
I am confident that we will have an update prior to the AGM, but we have not been advised as such.
We remain patient investors that view Nexoptic as a unique special situation, as I have described on numerous occasions. We remain unflustered by the trading activity, attributing it to tax loss selling, lack of news and a nervous investor marketplace.
I, personally, have a 26 cent US buy target that, if we get there, I will dip my toe in for a few more shares to average down. I do not believe we will get there. We did not use a stop loss as speculative stocks such as these are wildly volatile. To counter downside risk, we do not hold significantly large portions of this equity within our overall portfolio.
As for my religious bent, I apologize to anyone who does not appreciate it. It is not meant to offend, but is a part of my human essense. Just as someone tells another to "stay healthy" or "take it easy", I and many others say terms like "go with God", "Glory Be" and "pray for peace". As a former member of the military who has seen his share of sadness in the world, I find solace in my religiious faith. Some may consider it a mental illness, I consider it an emotional strength. Be well all, Stay healthy.
And Pray for Peace.
God Bless America.
