RE:RE:Love My Comics....how is this for some love
smart man!!!! I bought it 30 yrs ago. Having said this as I said if people know the market they are operating in this type of gain is still possible. I had a chance to buy Ahsoka Tamos first appearance for $2 as well as held 3 Captain Marvel books as well as 3 other Captain Marvel books all $2 each. The books were hot I didn't know the comic shop had them at overstock I put them away went for .50 books. That same year the Ahsoka Clone Wars 1 was over $500 the Captain Marvels due to Kamala Khan first set in the shape over $600 the others over $150....$2 books each. Now what people do is heavily speculate on newsstand current issues buy 100 copies each in raw non graded. They read reviews see what may be made in live action preferably animation as news like stock not necessary production comes the books jump heavily $5 books become $200 to $500 but graded are sure sells. People buy limited and ratio covers which tend to be $20 to $100 that have asks prices over $10k people sell those and buy the Silver Age books 1960s and if they can Golden. But if people buy the established books like stocks they are more guaranteed but higher prices lower returns. I bought an Amazing Spiderman 1 CBCS 4.5 for $16,500 over paid it was about $11,500 now they are about $16,500 to as high as $25 k ask. Again it all is if one understands the market they operate in logic. What is of stocks holds true for everything else. But smart man!!! That said yes you can make huge gains but they are on the newer books or ones you find cheap. When you pay more expect lesser profit so people say take 2 to 3 times don't look for 5 to 20 unless you hold quite some time...take your profits and keep making it that is the way to exponential wealth actually time vs money and what you do with it in the near term
