I'm just older so I learned longer ago, and occasional success tricks you into thinking you are smarter than the market. We very rarely are. I started investing in the late 70s, but learned in the 80s. A very difficult decade from raging inflation, to roaring stock and bond markets, to "the crash" of 1987 and the S&L crisis. Lots of lessons!
