RE: Miranda's Drilling ResultsI had mentioned, on Saturday, that this “Drill Results” thread was confusing,
that there were actually two Drill Reports being released in close proximity to each other.
I proceeded to comment on the first results.
The Horse Mountain (JV Barrick) drill results of Wednesday, January 24,
in Lander County, Nevada.
For the sake of symmetry,
I feel that it would be balanced to comment on the second drill report,
from Coal Canyon in Eureka County, Nevada.
So, IMHO, here is my glass half full commentary.
(a.k.a. The Little Miss Sunshine Report)
One
This property is a bit of a backwash, being in a different county,
the results have no direct bearing on the potential of MAD’s main properties.
Two
It is for only two holes for God’s sake.
These do not prove there is nothing on the property.
Three
In some of the first Cortez drill results, they were NOT looking for gold,
they were trying to find the lower plate.
It was a victory, they found the lower plate.
Due to some ignorance, some people bailed out because they did not find gold.
We do not know why these holes were drilled.
Perhaps it is the fault of these company that this stuff is not made a hell of a lot more clear.
For instance this drill report hints that these holes were primarily positioned to explore the geology of the area.
“....Golden Aria Corporation ("Golden Aria"), completed a two-hole drill program totaling 2,020 ft (615.8m).
The holes, MCC-1 and MCC-2, WERE DESIGNED TO TEST RESISTIVITY and self-potential anomalies at the intersections of altered fault zones, in favorable lower plate carbonate rocks. “
It is totally unclear if this is just the beginning for Golden Aria,
or if they about to throw in the towel and make room for someone else.
Who Knows?
