RE: Rumour
Kirkland Lake Gold states its latest cash position at $318.4 million, and the latest net quarterly income was $61 million, and it does have mining activity already in the same part of the province as McGarry. It does have an aggressive growth strategy to get to 1 million ozs of annual production. Similarly, Osisko reports latest cash position at $150 million, (as of quarter 1, 2018), while the Fully Diluted Cash position is $280. (Not sure what fully diluted means). It has mining activities in the Quebec portion of Abitibi. ORX needs some form of income in the next year or year and a half, or it could conceivably run out of cash. Perhaps strategic partnerships are in order rather than an outright sale, but all this is speculation. I am anxious to see the updated geophysicals in the near future. Perhaps Stephen has already given both Kirkland Lake Gold and Osisko a pre showing, and they want to see more. We shall see.
