John did not have the aid of 3d IP volumes to do his calcs..

also none of this included brasiles..could add another third to the estimate..

John Thornton's 1994 historic estimate gives this historical estimate:
The total amount of equivalent pounds of copper is 10,351,439,887 or 10,3 billion lbs equivalent.

I wouldn't even bring this up except Adam referenced "social media estimates" in a recent Torrey Hills Capital presentation.
