RE:RE:Generalities regarding timing of core, assay, 3D model, etcpullsea, thanks for the info; from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
To investigate the info that you relyed a bit further --- and whether, in your conversations with the company contacts, anything was mentioned regarding the total coring program duration --- I used your numbers to derive a basic arithmetic estimation:
[1] assuming 3 rigs: each averaging about 120m/d, where I will assume a total coring program estimate --- in line with what Adam, on more than a few ocassions, mentioned --- of approximately 125,000, more or less, total meters ... will lend itself to an estimated coring program duration of 347 days; essentially, one year.
[2] assuming 6 rigs: this will lend itself to an estimated coring program duration of 174 days; or, half a year.
Does this simple estimate of total coring schedule duration jibe --- or not --- with what your company contacts mentioned?
PS: while admitting to my shortcomings regarding direct experience with hard rock coring, IMO it is better to start out a project of this magnitude with fewer rigs, so as to let the company geological-engineering crew and core warehouse personnel get up to speed --- not to overwhelm them, especially with their dealings with the core drillers and the assay lab --- and, only later, as most major things get sorted out, to then increase the number of rigs.
Further, with a program of this magnitude, it would not be at all unusual to encounter some "surprises": some good and others not so good; including good rigs and bad rigs, good drillers and bad drillers, and etc.
I assume this, in many ways, will be a very dynamic process; where, fortunately, I believe that the investors have, in the experienced hands-on company management, personnel to handle any such situations.
