The Flat-Earthers vs Columbus 1492

On August 3, 1492, Italian explorer Christopher Columbus started his voyage across the Atlantic Ocean. With a crew of 90 men and three ships—the Nia, Pinta, and Santa Maria—he left from Palos de la Frontera, Spain. Columbus reasoned that since the world is round, he could sail west to reach “the east” (the lucrative lands of India and China). That reasoning was actually sound, but the Earth is much larger than Columbus thought—large enough for him to run into two enormous continents (the “New World” of the Americas) mostly unknown to Europeans.

As we pick up interest in the markets that we trade, there will always be skeptics who will recognize the potential of what we bring to the table, but will always default to "The world is flat" scenario, so don't sail, you'll fall off the edge.
That said, be wary about what the author Taylor has penned on SA. While he hints at all that's right about OCO, he fails to give one the insight that lies one layer beneath that has yet to be proven but logically probable. We here who have an in-depth knowledge of the issue, the management as well as the history of this property should not get frightened away by his twisted analysis, and trust the conversation that repeats on this board from the regulars like Cal...Mariuscomingz ...Bull S....The Reader...amongst others. Your portfolio will thank you in this comming year.

OCO has gotten the attention of a larger investment community, as well as the games that come with it,,. There is obviously more at play with this SA article then just opinion as evidenced by the Authors vigorous & constant rebuttals in the comment section,,.  Short articles are just one aspect, another is the dead cat comment on bull boards that dominated this board for several days last ...more

EStreet, I agree with you. There is more to this than a SA article. This seems like an orchestrated short attack. Step 1. Short the stock Step 2. Set up a new stockhouse account Step 3. Leak an ongoing private placement and how it will cause a selloff Step 4. Hijack the message board Step 5. Arrange a negative SA article to scare people into selling. Publlsh it on Sunday, a day before Monday ...more

Mariuez: First, let me apologize for the mis-spelling of your name in my original post....Spellchecker tagged another word lnto it.... Anyway, you might be right about him. A couple of weeks ago, he did a hit "job" on NVO.. Same MO!!  QH over there is their Columbus, and might very well be on the verge, if he's right, of creating what could end up being a Tier One operation, at ...more

I actually think the article was published in earnest. I quite enjoyed it, to be honest. My assessment is that he is a young kid adhering to a purist framework and heavily discounting the info the historical estimate + what we can gather from mixing with the 3dip results thus far.    Here are some casual counter arguments: 1) Historical estimates: It is quite odd, in that he is ...more

i don't think my post was clear, so i'll try again: HE thinks there no upside to the historical resource, and believes there is risk in re-confirming the resrouce WE beleive there is little risk to re-confirming and tremendous upside along the way
Comment by Chuburashka on Dec 13, 2020 9:46pm
Please outline specifically where's the upside in the next 4-6 months.  If you can prove it with facts and not speculation that would be appreciated.

Mariusz - I am not stating that Taylor Dart is correct with his bearish article. That said, there is no way he is involved in an orchestrated attack. I used to subscribe to his service and he is a fairly serious investor. However, he is usually centered on gold and precious metal stocks. I like and own Oroco - so I hope I don't flamed for this post.

I agree. I think he took a good look, and the passed based on where valuation is today. He didn't feel he needed to dig deeper.

What kind of a Scumbag would do that? Only someone that is in the Know.Could the answer be in the news releases ? HMMMMM

Yes, the author is free to wait until our massive deposit is perfectly proven and wrapped up in a nice little 43-101 report. He will probably be able to capture the final 30% (buy-out premium). But he'll likely be paying $5/share for the privilege. I prefer to take a little risk based on what is already obvious, and make several hundred percent. To each his own.

The author makes some good analytical points.  But these will appeal to the skeptics AND to those who might be scheming to bring the price down for their ENTRY.   Wondering !!!
