You missed the point. The stability referred to has nothing to do with blue states and red states. "Stability in the White House" has to do with stating a position on a policy and then based on the policy, sticking to the policy consistently. For example, Obama tried to liberalize the laws on legal access to marijuana for medical and recreational use. When Trump came into office, Jeff Sessions was totally opposed to that because he had the 50s and 60s mentality that pot leads to all evil. So the Trump administration opposed liberalization. Whether I agree with one of these policies or the other is not the point. The point is that the clarity of each position was a guiding factor in buying stocks related to the cannabis industry.
Rare earth elements (REEs) are a totally different matter. Like many sectors, Trump had no policy, no sense of urgency and/or no intellectual interest in the subject. And he constantly made contradictory statements about the Chinese and REEs. Within days of his inauguration, Biden ordered an immediate review of critical REE stocks and developed a plan to protect current stocks and increase supply. Again, it is not a question of whether I agree with one position or the other. It is a question of knowing a stance and based on that stance, being able to make good investment decisions. In January of 2020, I personally decided that Trump would not be re-elected. I, therefore, re-entered the REE space for the first time since 2017 and on that first purchase, ALVNF, I am up 400%+. Biden got elected, I backed up the truck not because I like Biden's position but because a consistent stable position allows me to target a sector based on the current administration's policy and it's likely impact on the sector. REEs will continue to explode because this administration will consistently support development, investment and freedom form the Chinese (who control 80% of the REE market). That has a great influence on the REE stocks I own.
I love to make money. I invest to make money. I am on this site to make money. The red and blue politics you bought up have nothing to do with making money. Do yourself and all of us a favor - Please leave politics out of it!
