Zijin is very active in purchasing gold properties
In 2020, Zijin if I remember correctly, outbid Silver Corp for the purchase of Guyana Gold fields. Silver Corp put in quite a nice offer but Zijin put in a much better offer. Guyana Gold fields was similar in size and grade. We now have the President of Silver Corp (Lon Shaver) on Omai's board of directors. I will leave it to your imagination! Silver Corp also has a good stake of Omai shares. Something to think about while we wait! I think we may have a few companies on the hunt for a good gold property, especially since gold is hovering around $2,200
