Don't step in the wonabaka"A famous anthropologist visited an island called Habby where a so-called primitive tribe lived. Worried that they were missing out on so many things, as they walked toward the tribal compound, the anthropologist addressed the men who had greeted his boat. "I come from a land where there is great peace and prosperity."
In unison, the natives said, "Wonabaka!"
The anthropologist went on, "Each man is treated equally."
"Wonabaka!"
"I have come here to show you our ways so you too can become truly happy."
Again, the natives roared, "Wonabaka!"
Some of the tribe's cattle appeared on a grassy knoll. The anthropologist stopped to admire them. "May I go over and touch them?" he asked.
The head native said, "Yes, friend, but don't step in the wonabaka!"
