The Guyana Suriname Basin

The Guyana Suriname BasinI located the following article which should be of interest to all shareholders. It touches on the analysis given by Kento a few weeks ago concerning South America' relation to Africa.

Before the continental drift that separated South America from Africa, the 3 sisters French, Dutch (Suriname) and British Guyana were all attached to that OIL RICH PROVINCE stretching from Guinea Bissau to Gabon.

Vast quantities of oil have been discovered in most of the countries on the West African Coast as well as in the South American nations with the exception of GUYANA and French Guyana. The latter have had little or no drilling for oil. Hopefully that will change with drilling planned in both countries for 2009-2010.

This area is said to contain 15-30 billion barrels of oil.
