RE: RE: Murphy's Well

RE: RE: Murphy's WellI've tried digging up some news on Murphy but wasn't able to find any boards or other information.  Even the Murphy IR site has no mention of this well.  I suspect they will keep things tight lip until they have completed drilling.

It will be interesting to see the results from both of their wells as both targets fairly close together, even closer than Jaguar and Eagle to my understanding.  Inpex will be drilling closest to our Eagle target.

The Zeadyus well that will be drilled by Shell with Tullow/Total in French Guiana (Feb) is a deep water well.  Shell exercised their option from Tullow to become operator of that well.

All three targets have very similiar seisemic charateristics to the Jubilee field in West Africa (Jaguar, Eagle & Zaedyus).  Very similiar fan plays and Zaedyus is almost identical according to Tullow.  Tullow's track record the last couple years has been over 80% (87% & 82%).

I think if CGX is successful in farming out Corentyne, it will be closer to drilling once the results of these other wells come in.  CGX has probably two maybe three weeks to secure the Atwood Beacon rig and news from Murphy could come at any time.

Hoping for some good news in January to start off the new year.
