RE:RE:RE:MY TAKE ON THE CGX AGM Beaner, no details were given for items 1 or 3 from your list. Regarding #1, the answer was, it is proprietary information, that's basically it, so I don't think we will ever find out. However, they did say there was "significant" interest and continues to be.
#3 was awfully vague too, spun in a way to focus on Corentyne, and Kawa drill took them in that direction.
For #2 they stated that CGX will seek the formal valuation and it will be published. No time frame given.
My favorite, and perhaps it's because of my own ignorance, is when Suresh said he didn't execute his options before May 2022 because he didn't want to dilute existing shareholders. I chuckled a bit at that one.
im anxious to listen to the recording again, had I been thinking I would have screen recorded. There was a comment made about FEC being a significant shareholder and it would be involved/influence CGX ops. I can't remember the exact wording, but as we all know and expect, De Alba is running the show here. This is exactly why I want to see the formal valuation, know which exemption is qualifies under, related party or not.
Somewhat related to the point above, the answer to whether a parent company had significant influence over a subsidiary at 75%, perhaps the corporate veil was pierced, was to consult an attorney. Lol. So there's that, they know they're walking a fine line, good or bad. With any luck it'll work in our favor
