That Shell FINALLY releases the rig?! Yeesh. These guys are taking forever.

Probably the same for Shell when CGX had it. Just the way the oil patch works. Guess that Shell, CGX could construct their own rigs. But much more cost effective to hire companies who already have rigs built and rent their rigs  No worries. When Shel is done with it then hopefully it will hang around Corenttyne for years.

That is true but Shell screwed up theiir second of two holes in july! After the first one went very smoothly. hat is 5 months of dicking around because of a messed up hole. I do not think we were that far behind. Anyhow it is what it is and we wait... Still... As usual.

Yeah Waitingstill I don't know what happened with Shell. The local network of info exchange would know. I read on this board that the problem was a stuck logging tool. If the wireline got parted and balled up in the hole then it's a huge problem because they can't pull the balled up mess of entangled wireline through smaller inside diameters casing and BOPs which then requires a series

Because I keep on forgetting my password. Lol. I must have over 5 gmail accounts. It's so easy for one person to be many people on this board. My next handle will be batspissstew. Got bats on my mind cause they buzz past my head in the early morning. Lots more insect because of the very rare piles of rain we've been getting lately. Right now nimbostratus clouds mean more rain today
