99% certain the logging tool was differentially stuck....that's also irrelevant and it didn't need to be discussed on their call.  No one over there is looking for drilling advise from shareholders...especially if they read these boards.  If you know so much about the oilfield you should know you don't get key-seated in a vertical hole...leaving only tool failure as a mechanical mode or wellbore collapse for sticking. Differential sticking is the most common cause especially in highly permeable formations that are prone to thick filter cakes. Wireline tools can't rotate to help get unstuck...all you got is a bit of jarring and pull force. It happens a lot. Either wait for well results or sell and move on.

How much have you lost so far? With negative $330 million dollars in share holder equity so far then you've lost a pile. I don't know anyrhing about deepwater drilling? OK keep on stranding your money then cause nobody gonna invest a dime more without a flow test. How much have you lost in opportunity cost? And you can't get out without crashing the stock. Ok solid arguement WS. We have this reflexive dynamic going on where expectations are divorced from reality. Reflexivity is a term dreamed up by George Soros. The expectation of a big find is reflected in sp and fed back to other investors as sp increases driving sp up even higher into a bubble.
