Fronterra

Both Fronterra  and CGX were well aware that neither companies had the funds to take N Corentyne into production.....I could see them  initially  spending the money to drill Kawa...They certainly  had to prove there was oil.....but on Wei ....any competent management before spending roughly close to $200 million on thier second well would Shurely had to be in negotiations with someone prior to making that decision...How on earth could anyone make the decision  to go ahead ...without a plan for any successful outcome...They knew they were Not capable to take it to completion...ie production....Fronterra, s management  team may be a bit suspect ..but they certainly  can't be that negligent....I have to believe that Fronterra  had to and still is after Kawa and before drilling Wei ....in negotiations for either a Farm in or a outright buyout....There is No other Logical solution....

Agreed TAAL, I truly believe FEC/CGX will negotiate a farm in. FEC/CGX or just FEC will sell all but maybe 20% and ride along with that. Turning over the Operatorship to the Major/s that buy in. END of Story. Thanks goodness I'm done. CGX will take the Port as part of the divorce. lj

Do not underestimate the stupidity of some management teams Taal. Absolutely nothing Frontera or CGX have done with this play opportunity suggests common sense or tactful strategy.  Thank goodness Exxon and Apache found their oil deposits and in essence lead these bafoons to the right area to shoot 3D seismic and drill wells.
