As of today, Frontera holds 257 million of CGX's 338 million shares. Ironically, given the recent events with CGX share price, almost every single one of these shares are below their purchase price since the first equity investment was made by Pacific (now FEC) back in 2011. 

Will De Alba truly allow these CGX shares to become worthless? 

I think the recent noise regarding government anger is 100% justified. Saying that, as much of an idiot De Alba is, I fail to believe he will allow 257 million shares to get flushed down the toilet and become worthless by allowing FEC and CGX to submit a phony/misleading Notice of Commerical interest to the government. Anything is possible but I doubt it. 

All this idiot has to do is sell the prospective resource in the Maastricthain for a party $1 usd/barrel and those 257 million shares skyrocket. Guess we will see soon enough.

Sintana ...sold Totall a similar discovery farm down for ...which I thought was cheap the Namibian off shore for $2 u s ...so you would sure think this discovery would bring at least that much !

Sintana didnt sell anything and is holding the most exciting and biggest offshore discovery the last decade so maby not a good comparison. I also believe guyana will not kill cgx this time due to their history but the mafket doesnt reflect that risk. Think about it, you can see a press release any day of relinquishing whats left of corentyne and drop to zero in a day.. Again, i dont ghink it will

If CGX is granted an extension I wonder what the terms will be.  I am sure Guyana will want a committment of further development with some form of financial commitment on CGX's part. Since CGX is broke I wonder what Frontera has for a game plan since Guyana seems to want proof of financial commitment going forward.  Something definitive has to happen very soon since CGX is running
