Worried about Stock Consolidation?

Worried about Stock Consolidation?I have never been a fan of stock consolidations. They never help the share price. The proposed 4 for 1 does not make much sense to me if they want to improve liquidity. Anyone have an informed opinion on this. I may want to buy more shares but am considering waiting until post consolidation.
